Linger by Maggie Stiefvater (The Wolves of Mercy Falls #2)

If you have not read the first book then I would not read the summary of this book. As I do not want to ruin anything about the first book for you. With that being said.........

Grace and Sam finally have each other. Isabel's idea we found out at the end of the first book worked on Sam. Now our two love birds can finally plan a future together with out the worry of Sam becoming a wolf. What they do not realize is there will be some issues on the way that can stop there happy ending. First there is Cole, whom Isabel can not keep away from. He is one of the newly made wolves that Beck had bit. Then we have the problem of Grace herself. She is getting sicker and sicker but what is reason why?

I have to ask did the green ink throw others off too? Did the last book have blue ink to match the cover also? I had to shut my eye and then open them to double check and see if I was seeing things. If the last book has red ink I'm going to have to say that is pretty cool. I have not known anyone to publish a book that way unless it was a children's book. For this book I have a hard time really loving it. I don't hate it but I don't think its the greatest. I do think it is better then the first. Seeing some signs of anger from Sam was nice. I love Isabel's straight to the point thinking. She keeps everyone in check. I do enjoy seeing thing from every one's point of view but I also feel a little disconnected from everyone. I'm lacking that finally connection that keeps me from putting the book. I found I could walk away from this book. Actually I had to talk my self into finishing it. I can't place my finger on what exactly keeps me from fulling loving this book. Maybe I'll figure it out soon.
The story is pretty original and its a nice twist with the science of things so I will give this book a C+
