This is the third book in the four part series. Bianca and Lucas are now with the Black Cross. Of course the Black Cross are still under the impression that Bianca is human and that her vampire parents kidnapped her. So now hiding in the one group sworn to kill her kind she must hide who she is really is in order for her and Lucas to stay together. But getting caught in the act of drinking blood by her best friend who ends up telling the Black Cross her secret causes the couple to go on the run. They turn to their friend Vic who helps find them a place to stay for awhile. Bianca begins to find her self getting sicker and sicker with out knowing the reason why. Can her and Lucas' love keep her from dying?

This book I did enjoy. I felt for both of them just trying to find a way to be together and live what life they can. I did get a kick out of the fact Vic knew everyone was a vampire and how calm he was about it. That even becoming besties with a vampire. I had a hard time watching Bianca die. It broke my heart knowing that she couldn't really touch her one true love. That is in till I learned she has major ghost mojo and can make her body really for a bit at a time. Charity confuses me though. I see her weird crazy logic of wanting to hurt Bianca and the going after Lucas because he is tied to Bianca but I still in a weird way feel like her character just comes out of left field a lot. Then her turning Lucas totally shocked me. I wonder though how pissed he is going to be when he wakes up.
